Brian Platt joins Paragon Real Estate Advisors after having represented investors that closed on more than 110 apartment units in the Greater Seattle area. Brian strongly believes that Seattle provides the perfect climate for buying and selling investment real estate, due in part to a diversified economy that provides an excellent quality of life. As part owner of a 14 unit apartment building in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Brian uses the experience and insight he has gained as a property owner to add value for his clients.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Washington. Prior to beginning a career in real estate, Brian gained in-depth knowledge of financial investment and retirement planning while working at Morgan Stanley.
Outside the office, as a lifelong Husky fan, Brian is affiliated with the University of Washington Alumni Association and the Tyee Club. Additionally, he enjoys spending time with family at his cabin on Whidbey Island.

Cathy, a partner with Paragon Real Estate Advisors, has been a consistent top producing commercial agent for ten years. Her in-depth industry experience provides her with the insight needed to accurately assess property values and negotiate in the best interest of her clients.
As a long time owner of rental properties (she bought her first investment 2 years after graduating from college) she understands and appreciates the value of this type of property. Her hands-on knowledge of both property management and landlord/tenant law gives her clients the extra edge needed to make well-informed investment decisions.
Cathy is a great communicator and uses her strong negotiation skills as an advocate for her clients’ best interests. Once she closes a transaction she keeps in touch with her clients and continues to be a valuable resource.
Prior to beginning her real estate career, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Seattle University, allowing her to experience adventure as a traveling nurse.
Since 1989 Cathy has been an active member of the Rental Housing Association. She has served on its board for over ten years and was President of the Board in 2005. She has also volunteered her time as a board member of Hospice of Seattle and has remained active in the alumni association of Seattle University.

With a strong background renovating residential and commercial investment properties in the Seattle area as well as an economics and business degree from Western Washington University, Conor Barclay knows the value “sweat equity” can add to an aging property. Conor gained valuable field experience working eight years with a major local construction company where he renovated Seattle and South King commercial properties. He looks forward to applying this perspective in adding value for his clients.
Conor’s enthusiasm and energy is also reflected in his passion for steelhead fishing and travel. He has been active volunteer with Stream Team and Nisqually Stream Stewards helping to rebuild our Puget Sound salmon runs. His most recent travel destinations include trips to Africa and Latin America. Most importantly, Conor values lasting relationships both with friends and with his clients. |

An up-and-coming artist in the Seattle scene, Cyra devotes her daytime hours to Paragon as the Administrative Marketing Assistant, bringing 8 years of desktop publishing to the table, backed with an undergraduate degree in Professional Writing and extensive graduate work in Technical Writing.
As an artist, Cyra works in acrylic and mixed media abstractions (accessible online at www.cyrahobson.com), and hopes to soon expand into sculpture and clock design. She also sings soprano in a local classical choir with plans to join the Seattle Symphony Chorale next fall. |

A Seattle native, Ed is a principal and co-founder of Paragon Real Estate Advisors. In addition to investment property brokerage, he manages a portfolio of family-owned real estate, private companies and equity investments.
Ed is a graduate of Seattle's Lakeside School and earned a BA in Economics and in American History from Connecticut College, where he served as Class President. He is also an alumni of Harvard Business School. He graduated the Owner/President Management (OPM) program in 2004.
In addition to Paragon, Ed is a Director of Executive Hotels and Resorts and President of Coast Communications, a family owned Cable TV and Internet company. He volunteers as a Director of the Childhaven centers for abused and neglected children, and as an Alumni Board member of the Lakeside School. Ed lives in West Seattle with his wife of 12 years and their two daughters. |

Jonathan Breiner was born and raised in the New York Metro Area. He graduated from University of Puget Sound where he earned a bachelor's degree in Economics combined with a minor in Mathematics. He also completed graduate work in accounting and finance and is currently pursuing an MBA.
Prior to joining Paragon Real Estate Advisors, Mr. Breiner specialized in real estate management and development in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. His previous experience includes technology mergers and acquisitions for a Seattle based multinational software company. Outside of work, Mr. Breiner enjoys skiing, mountaineering, golfing and traveling. He currently lives in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. He is also a member of University of Puget Sound Alumni Committee.
